1. Eligibility

Effective immediately, passengers with confirmed bookings on EVA Air (695) or UNI Air (525) tickets affected by flight cancellations or significant changes, and who meet any of the following conditions, are eligible for changes or refunds as per the guidelines below. Changes due to aircraft type alterations are not included.

(1) Flights are canceled without alternative arrangements.

(2) The departure or arrival times for alternative or rescheduled flights differ by more than 2 hours.

(3) Schedule changes or alternative flights result in missed connections or insufficient connection times.

(4) Alternative flights depart from or arrive at a different airport or involve more connections.

Passengers who do not accept re-accommodation on flights that fall outside the above conditions will be considered as making voluntary changes or seeking voluntary refunds and will be subject to relevant service charges and/or fare/tax differences.

2. Changes

(1) Under the conditions of maintaining the same Origin and Destination points and within the validity period of the ticket (for this purpose, TPE/RMQ/KHH are considered as the same ticket point), passengers may change their flight or travel date within 14 days before or after the originally disrupted flight as follows:

A. Changes in accordance as below, passengers will be exempt from the charge of reissue fee and the difference of fare and taxes, fuel/insurance surcharges, booking service charges for one transaction. 

(A) Date Change: rebook with the same routing and same booking class code (RBD)

(B) Itineraries with connecting interline segments: change of interline carrier or transfer point is permitted provided the most significant sector remains on EVA/UNI Air and operated by EVA/UNI Air.

B. For Premium Economy class passengers that unable to rebook the original booking class code due to aircraft issue, please rebook on the corresponding Economy class booking class code or business class, and will be exempt from the charge of reissue fee and the difference of fuel/insurance surcharges, booking service charges for one transaction, however the fare difference will be reassessed based on original ticketed date and refund (Economy class) or paid by the passenger (Business class).

(2) If the cancelled flight were resumed afterwards, changed passengers may choose to change to original flight/date again with the same booking class code (RBD) without additional charge. For passengers changed into Economy class due to aircraft issues that would like to resume to Premium Economy class may pay the fare/tax difference without reissue fee, the difference of fuel/insurance surcharge and booking service charge. Changed Business class passengers may follow the same practice to resume to Premium Economy Class.

(3) EVA/UNI Air operated flights changed to other carriers’ flights or codeshare flights are not permitted unless otherwise specified in the relevant fare rules.

(4) Within ticket validity, if passengers change the new travel date outside the 14 days range or outside the scope of (1) ~ (4) above, it will be considered as voluntary change that the ticket should be recalculated and reissued to collect the difference of fare and TFC, if any, however, the reissue fee will be waived for one transaction.

(5) Subsequent change request after acknowledgement/changes made via the Self Reaccommodation Tool:

A. Changes to unaffected segment(s) only: 

Due to system limitations, the Self Reaccommodation Tool allows changes only to affected segments. If a passenger needs to change an unaffected segment as a result, they may be booked on a new flight within ticket validity, using the same Booking class and the same origin and destination. In such cases, no additional collection will be imposed. 

However, if the same booking class no longer available or if the route has changed, the fare must be recalculated and any difference in fare, taxes, fuel surcharge and booking service charge will be collected. The reissue fee may be waived once. 

B. Changes involve segments already acknowledged or modified via the Self Reaccommodation Tool:

Acknowledgments or changes made through Self Reaccommodation Tool count as one-time changes, if the passenger wishes to modify the acknowledged/ changed segment again, it will be treated as a voluntary change, the fare must be recalculated and any difference in fare, taxes, fuel surcharge, booking service charge and change fee will be collected.

(6) Tickets purchased from travel agencies should refer to the original issuing travel agent.

3. Refunds

(1) Refunds for affected tickets and related ancillary services may be granted in accordance with the provisions for involuntary refunds, without imposing a refund service charge.  Additionally, booking service charge (YR) may be refunded as well.

(2) For tickets purchased or modified from EVA Air official website, please submit a refund application through EVA Air website. For tickets purchased from EVA Air ticketing channels, please contact EVA Air reservation and ticketing office to arrange a refund.

(3) For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact your travel agent for refund.

4. For tickets that were previously changed with the reissue fee waived, any subsequent voluntary change or refund request will be subject to the applicable service charge, which will not be waived. 

5. If the ticket being changed is the result of an exchanged/reissued or revalidated transaction, the eligibility of waiver is determined based on the current ticket to be changed/refunded.   

6. Award ticket and upgrade with mileages

Please contact EVA reservation and ticketing office for assistance:

(1) Refunds: no refund service charge will be imposed.  

(2) Change of Date/flight: Free of charge

(3) Change of Routing: A reissue fee and any expired mileage will be waived for one transaction, provided the revised itinerary meets the same criteria as the affected ticket. Any additional taxes/fees/charges arising from rerouting must be paid by the passenger and any taxes/fees/charges previously paid but no longer applicable to the revised itinerary will be refunded upon request after the journey is completed. 

7. Group passengers shall contact the original issuing travel agency for changes/refunds.

8. Free and Reduced fare tickets are not included in this handling guideline, e.g. ID/AD/DM... etc.

9. The fare difference or fees that previously charged will not be returned under any circumstance.

1. Eligibility

Effective from 01MAY2024, Passengers holding BR (695) /B7(525) tickets with confirmed Premium Economy booking that being affected by aircraft change..

2. Changes

(1) Within ticket validity, passengers may choose any of the options below without reissue fee for ONE transaction, and the ticket should be reissued accordingly:

A. Passengers may accept the re-accommodated economy booking class code of the same flight booked and refund the fare/tax difference reassessed based on the historical date; or

B. Passengers may choose to rebook to the designated economy booking class code of the same route on other dates in accordance with the fare rule and pay/refund the fare/tax difference reassessed based on the historical date; or

C. Passengers may choose to rebook to the same route, same premium economy booking class code as original ticket on other dates and pay/refund the fare/tax difference reassessed based on the historical date.

D. Passengers may choose to rebook to business class of the same route on other dates in accordance with the fare rule and pay the fare/tax difference reassessed based on the historical date. 

(2) For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing agents for rebooking and ticket change.

(3) If the flights revert to aircrafts with premium economy class service afterwards, passengers who have reissued tickets in compliance with this bulletin and request to change back to premium economy class with same flight/date may claim a refund or pay the fare/tax differences reassessed based on the historical fare with the original booking class code, and are entitled to waive change fee for one transaction.

3. Refunds

(1) Refunds for affected tickets and related ancillary services may be granted in accordance with the provisions for involuntary refunds, without imposing a refund service charge. Additionally, booking service charge (YR) may be refunded as well.

(2) Tickets purchased from travel agencies should refer to the original issuing travel agent.

(3) Tickets purchased from EVA worldwide offices or EVA website, please contact EVA reservation and ticketing offices.

4. For tickets being changed with reissue fee waived but then voluntarily request for a change or refund afterwards, the service charge will not be waived.

5. If the ticket being changed/refunded is the result of an exchanged/reissue or revalidated transaction, the eligibility of waiver is determined based on the current ticket to be changed/refunded.

6. Award ticket and upgrade with mileages

(1) Award tickets

A. The service fee of USD$50 can be waived once. Any mileage difference will be collected or returned if the new itinerary requires more or less miles than the original one. Expired miles are exempt from collection.

B. If an award ticket contains multiple segments in different route, zone or booking class, mileage deduction will be redeemed according to the higher cost one.

C. If the flights revert to aircrafts with premium economy class service afterwards, passengers who request to change back to premium economy class, the mileage differences will be collected if the reissue ticket requires more miles than the original one. Expired mileage evaluation upon reissue can be exempt.

The service fee of USD$50 for award ticket reissuance can be waived once for Green Card members. Diamond Card/Gold Card/Silver Card members are exempt from service fee as current policy.

(2) Upgrade awards

Rebook the original ticket class, or change itinerary with new required mileage. Any mileage differences will be collected (returned).

(3) Please contact EVA Air reservation and ticketing offices for rebooking and ticket change.

(4) For the required mileage for Economy class to upgrade to Royal Laurel/Premium Laurel/Business Class, please refer to EVA website.

7. Group passengers shall contact the original issuing travel agency for changes/ refunds.

8. Free and Reduced fare tickets are not included in this handling guideline, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc.

1. Eligibility

Passengers traveling on EVA flight to and from Chengdu on a EVA Air (695) or UNI Air (525) ticket, who have been affected by TFU airport switch to CTU.

2. Changes

(1) For tickets purchased from EVA Air official website or EVA Air Customer Service Center, the original TFU flight will be cancelled and re-accommodated to CTU with the same flight number and same date, and the system will update tickets automatically. (This includes award tickets and upgrade bookings redeemed with miles)

Subsequent changes following the re-accommodation are deemed voluntary, please contact EVA Air Customer Service Center for assistance.

(2) For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing travel agents for assistance.

3. Refunds

This adjustment is due to airport operational requirements. As there are no changes to the flight number or travel date, any refund request will be processed as a voluntary refund.

1. Eligibility

Passengers with confirmed bookings on EVA Air (695) or UNI Air (525) tickets to/from Washington transfer via EVA USA or Canada routes and issued on/before 12FEB 2026.

2. Changes

Passengers may rebook onto EVA Air direct flights to or from Washington without incurring a change fee for one time only, provided the origin and destination cities remain unchanged and the rebooking is within the ticket’s validity period: 

(1) Totally Unused: Tickets shall be recalculated and reissued in accordance with the applicable fare rules. Any resulting fare difference, taxes, fuel surcharges, or booking service charges shall be paid by the passenger.

(2) Partially Used:

A. If rebooking is made on a direct flight with the same travel date and the same booking class (RBD), the ticket may be changed without additional charges.

B. If rebooking is made for a different date and/or in a different booking class (RBD), the ticket shall be recalculated and reissued in accordance with the applicable fare rules, using the original routing—provided no applicable fare is found. Any resulting fare difference, taxes, fuel surcharges, or booking service charges shall be paid by the passenger.

(3) Tickets purchased from travel agencies should refer to the original issuing travel agent.

3. If a ticket is changed with the reissue fee waived but is subsequently voluntarily changed or refunded, the service charge will not be waived. 

4. Award tickets and upgrades using mileage:

Changes to EVA Air direct flights to or from Washington, the reissue fee and expired miles are exempt from collection for one transaction. 

5. Group passengers should contact the original issuing travel agency for changes/refunds.

6. Free and reduced fare tickets (e.g., ID/AD/DM, etc.) are not covered by this handling guideline.

7. The fare difference or fees that were previously charged will not be refunded under any circumstance.    

1. Eligibility

Passengers with a confirmed Economy class booking on EVA Air (695) or UNI (525) tickets issued on/before 18SEP2025 for travel between Taipei and Vienna, who request a change to Premium Economy class of the Vienna route due to the addition of Premium Economy service.

2. Changes

(1) Changes to Premium Economy Class of the same flight/date: passengers shall be responsible for the applicable differences in fare, Taxes/Fees/Charges and the booking service charge. The reissue fee shall be waived for one transaction.

(2) Changes to Premium Economy Class of other flight/date: passengers shall be responsible for the applicable differences in fare, Taxes/Fees/Charges, the booking service charge as well as the reissue fee.

(3) Tickets purchased from travel agencies should refer to the original issuing travel agent.

3. Refund:

Apply the voluntary refund policy as outlined in the applicable fare rules.

4.  Award ticket and upgrade with mileages

Changes are allowed in accordance with the voluntary change policy outlined in the applicable fare rules. Please contact EVA Air's call centers for assistance.

5. Free and Reduced fare tickets are not included in this handling guideline, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc.

1. Eligibility

Passengers traveling on EVA flight to and from Cambodia on a 695 ticket, who have been affected by PNH airport switch to KTI.

2. Changes

(1) For tickets purchased from EVA Air official website or reservation and ticketing offices, the original PNH flight will be cancelled and re-accommodated to KTI with the same flight number and same date, and the system will reissue tickets automatically. (This includes award tickets and upgrade bookings redeemed with miles)

Subsequent changes following the re-accommodation are deemed voluntary, please contact EVA Air's reservation and ticketing offices for assistance.

(2) For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact the original issuing travel agents for assistance.
