In compliance with Taiwan government’s epidemic prevention policy, EVA Air is reducing flights to / from Mainland China. Starting from February 10th to April 29th, EVA will cut down its cross-strait route network to five destinations in China, including Beijing, Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Xiamen and Chengdu.

EVA Air will launch a new service between Taipei and Phuket, starting on 2 April, 2020. The airline will serve the route with an Airbus A330-200, configured for 252 passengers with 24 in Royal Laurel Class business and 228 in Economy.
SKYTRAX revealed its 2019 World Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday, 18 June, 2019 and EVA Air was a winner. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Star Alliance have renewed their collaboration on traveller document verification to improve the passenger experience. Star Alliance and IATA, in a signing ceremony at IATA’s 75th Annual General Meeting in Seoul, agreed that IATA’s Timatic AutoCheck solution will continue to power Automated Document Check (ADC) for Star Alliance member carriers.
