エバー航空とエアバス社は、このほど航空会社の持続可能な航空燃料(SAF)導入と利用促進に関する協力協定を締結しました。

エバー航空は、アメリカのライフスタイル旅行雑誌、コンデナスト・トラベラー(Condé Nast Traveler’s)がこのほど発表した2024年のリーダーズチョイスアワードにて、世界最高の航空会社 (The Best Airlines in the World) 9位にランクインしました。

Lufthansa Technik AG is proud to announce EVA Air as the first Asian airline having signed for modifications with its drag-reducing and hence fuel-saving AeroSHARK surface technology jointly developed with BASF. The Taipei-based airline decided to have its entire cargo fleet of nine Boeing 777F long-range freighters modified with the innovative riblet films covering the aircraft’s fuselage and engine nacelles. With B-16786, a first EVA Air freighter has already undergone this comprehensive modification at the airline’s homebase at Taipei Taoyuan International Airport. Closely guided by Lufthansa Technik, the modification was executed by EVA Air's affiliate, Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. (EGAT). The aircraft is expected to re-enter commercial service in early September.

「航空業界のオスカー」として知られる航空サービス調査機関SKYTRAXは、2024年6月24日「2024 グローバル エアライン アワード」を発表しました。エバー航空は9年連続となる5つ星航空会社の認定をはじめ、「ワールドトップ10エアライン」で第8位、「ベストプレミアムエコノミークラスケータリング」と「ベストプレミアムエコノミークラスオンボードケータリングin アジア」での第1位を含む計16の賞を受賞、授賞式には社長のクレイ・ソンが会社を代表して出席しました。５つ星認定の航空会社は世界で10社のみで、台湾の航空会社ではエバー航空が唯一となります。

EVA Air and Chung Yuan Christian University have again partnered to hold the "2024 EVA Air ESG Innovative Design Competition" with invitations to participate extended to teachers and students from colleges and universities. The awards ceremony was staged at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on May 17, 2024 and cohosted by EVA President Clay Sun and Chung Yuan Christian University Chairman Kwang-Cheng Chang. From May 17 to 20, a four-day "Green Future" exhibition, showcasing outstanding competition designs alongside some of EVA’s own industry-leading sustainability initiatives with emphasis on environmental protections, innovations, regeneration and education.
