Making an EVABidDeal offer
Yes, the offer window closes 50 hours prior to departure of each eligible sector of your journey.
The upgrade price range will be shown once you enter your booking reference and last name in our widget.
Please note that the price is not inclusive of your original airfare.
The upgrade price you see on the offer page is on a "per passenger" basis, and the same price will be applied to each passenger in the booking when submitted.
All the passengers will be upgraded if your offer be accepted by EVA Air.
Yes, it is possible to make an EVABidDeal offer when travelling with children. Kindly note, there is no discount apply with children.
If you would like to make an EVABidDeal offer for only selected travelers in the booking, please contact our ticketing offices or your original travel agent to split your booking reference.
EVABidDeal can be selected separately each flight in your journey. So you can easily choose those you want to upgrade when making offer on the EVABidDeal page.
Your original offer will no longer be valid. If your new flight is eligible, you could submit a new bid via the link on our EVABidDeal webpage.
Yes, You may revise or cancel your offer at any time up to 50 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time by clicking the link in your offer confirmation email.
An offer can be modified or cancelled up to 50 hours before departure. After that, no modification or cancellation can be made.
No, you cannot do so. EVABidDeal only allow passengers to upgrade to the next higher class.

Paying for the Upgrade

Currently, we accept TWD, USD, JPY, and EUR for paying the upgrade. The total amount will show on the offer confirmation page. The transaction is completed on the transnational payment platform. No, we do not specify why a flight is ineligible for upgrade. Please note that the outcome of your upgrade purchase is determined by a combination of various factors (please refer to the next question).
Successful upgrade is determined by many factors. Such as the bidding amount, number of available seats, original ticket cabin, the bidding history, and all other factors that are determined by EVA Air. Even if you offer the highest bidding amount, we are unable to explain why your bidding is failed. EVA Air reserves the right of bidding upgrades.

No. Changing your credit card after receiving the confirmation email is not permitted.
The upgrade is only valid on the date and the flight shown on the ticket. It is non-transferrable and non-refundable once successful. Your ability to change or cancel your flight will depend on the fare conditions of your original booking, but your upgrade will be forfeited should you choose to change or cancel your flight. Only if prepaid airline taxes and fees are refundable, please contact our ticketing and reservation center.
The upgrade is only valid for use by the ticketed passenger on the journey and is not transferrable to another passenger.
Yes, you can select seat when online check-in. Note that we cannot guarantee the availability of neighboring seats at the point when your or travel companion's upgrade are confirmed. If you had selected a seat in the original cabin prior to your upgrade being confirmed, this selection will no longer be valid and you will have to select a seat in the upgraded class during check-in.
Award miles, status miles and sectors are calculated based on EVABidDeal upgraded RBD. If you successfully upgrade to Premium Economy class, you can earn miles and sectors as class P. If you successfully upgrade to business class, you can earn miles and sectors as class D. Please refer to Infinity MileageLands website for Mileage accrual ratio.
Yes, the fare rules of your original booking will continue to apply to your upgraded booking.
