Notes
- EVA Air passengers whose itinerary includes rail travel on DB to DB stations within Germany via Munich International Airport (MUC) may not stopover at MUC or via Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) may not stopover at AMS.
- There is no Deutsche Bahn ICE stop at Munich Airport, passenger may take local train S1 or S8 to Munich Central Station. Passengers with Rail&Fly included in their ticket do not need to pay an extra fee for the local train ride. Rail&Fly train ticket includes the local train (S-Bahn) between Munich Airport and Munich Central station.
- For the DB segment of your journey, please have the following documents ready for inspection on the train: Rail & Fly train ticket (must print before boarding), EVA Air e-ticket/ticket itinerary, a valid passport/photo ID.
- You may only travel on ICE/IC/EC trains for the DB segment of your journey. The actual departure/arrival times displayed on the ticket purchase platform and your ticket may not reflect actual train details. For actual train schedules please visit the DB website (www.bahn.de). QYG is a generic name for all train stations in Germany. Please select your actual destination train station, train number, and departure time when you check in online.
- The Check-in is open directly after issuance of the flight ticket, but no longer than 180 days in advance. To check-in online and print your ticket, please visit https://www.rail-checkin.com and enter your name, along with your e-ticket number or booking reference.
- For Rail&Fly passengers, a seat reservation is automatically included for the selected train connection. (Notification: The seat reservation is not inserted into the flight ticket booking. As soon as you are checking in on www.rail-checkin.com, you are automatically assigned a seat which is displayed on the train ticket. If several passengers are checking in together, the seats are booked together, if available.)
- It is the passenger's responsibility to arrive at the airport on time. We recommend selecting a DB connection that allows you to reach the airport at least two hours prior to your flight's departure. EVA AIR is not liable for passenger who misses flight with train delay/cancellation.
- Train ticket validity:
Train to the airport: The train ticket is valid 1 day prior to the flight departure and the day of flight departure.
Train from the airport: The train ticket is valid the day of flight arrival and 1 day after flight arrival.
This gives you more flexibility to plan our trip by train to and from the airport. - Please note that your luggage will be your responsibility throughout your entire rail journey.
- If you have not checked in for train ticket, the rail coupons can be rebooked and refunded until the date of the rail coupon.
Until 48 hours prior to arrival time of the rail segment: If you have already checked in, the rail coupon can be rebooked and refunded until 48 hours prior to arrival time of the rail segment.
48 hours prior to arrival time of the rail segment: Rebookings and refunds are no longer possible from this time onward. - Rail & Fly itineraries are not available for any discount/group fares, or award tickets.
